Senior Robotics Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement industrial robotic systems and lead robotic hardware and software architecture development.
• Develop motion-planning, navigation, and control algorithms; program robots using ROS, C++, Python, and other relevant languages.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, machine vision, and AI; develop autonomous navigation and robotic manipulation systems.
• Run simulations, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams and prepare technical documentation and specifications.
• Lead prototypes through production deployment, troubleshoot systems, and provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Mentor junior robotics engineers, provide technical leadership, and evaluate emerging robotics technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of robotics-specific experience.
• Strong experience with industrial robots such as ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and open-source robots.
• Conceptual knowledge of quadrupeds, humanoids, and rovers.
• Proficiency with ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• Extensive knowledge of AI, machine learning, computer vision, and robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
• Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo, MATLAB Simulink, or RViz; AMRs or AGVs; SLAM and path planning; and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
