The post-holder manages and reports high-volume research data and provides analytics support to the directorate.
Responsibilities
- Collect, manage and report research data for a range of purposes.
- Use EDGE, Study Line and the NIHR Open Data Platform to collate and analyse data.
- Support internal, regional and national reporting.
- Work with Trust Information Managers and the wider JRO to identify and sustainably extract data from local systems.
- Support compliance with national directives and financial sustainability.
- Provide audit and research reports and work with clinical teams to meet service data needs.
- Work independently to keep the Management Information System fit for purpose.
Requirements
- Experience as a data analyst and knowledge of healthcare research.
- Experience of the UK regulatory environment for healthcare research.
- Commitment to resolving data quality issues and improving working practices.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a fit-for-purpose Management Information System.
- Power BI modelling and visualisation and advanced Excel analysis are especially welcomed.
