Senior Recruiter - Construction

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment from sourcing and screening through interviews, offer negotiations, and joining coordination.
• Recruit technical, engineering, managerial, senior-level, and blue-collar professionals for construction, contracting, and real estate development operations.
• Source project managers, civil engineers, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors, planning engineers, commercial managers, and blue-collar candidates.
• Develop sourcing strategies using job portals, recruitment databases, referrals, and professional networks.
• Coordinate with department heads and project managers on manpower needs, job specifications, and hiring priorities.
• Screen and interview candidates, assessing qualifications, technical experience, salary expectations, and suitability.
• Build talent pipelines for current vacancies and future project manpower requirements.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, monitor hiring progress, and prepare regular recruitment reports.
• Support manpower planning and employer branding to attract qualified construction professionals.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of recruitment experience in construction or contracting.
• Proven recruitment experience for technical, engineering, project management, and senior-level roles in construction or contracting companies.
• Strong knowledge of construction roles, technical job requirements, and the UAE recruitment market.
• Hands-on experience with job portals and candidate sourcing tools.
• Strong interviewing, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet recruitment deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and recruitment tracking systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
