Senior Financial Planning & Analyst

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget and monthly or quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare department budgets and work with heads of department on financial requirements.
• Monitor budget-versus-actual spending and highlight major variances.
• Maintain company and project-level cash-flow forecasts.
• Assess proposed spending against available and forecast cash flow.
• Review Sales and Marketing proposals, incentives, bonuses, events, and campaigns.
• Analyze marketing performance and ROI across spend, leads, conversions, sales, and collections.
• Validate departmental commercial data against CRM, Finance, and Collections records.
• Analyze sales, collections, cancellations, discounts, and commissions.
• Prepare project feasibility and profitability analyses.
• Monitor project budgets, construction costs, and cost-to-complete against approved feasibility.
• Analyze pricing, discounts, payment plans, and post-handover plan impacts.

Reporting and decision support

• Prepare financial scenarios and sensitivity analysis for major management decisions.
• Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards covering cash flow, budgets, sales, collections, project profitability, and business KPIs.
• Identify financial risks, overspending, cash-flow gaps, and underperforming activities for management.
• Work with the CFO and heads of department to improve financial planning and support decision-making.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Five to eight or more years of FP&A or commercial finance experience.
• CMA or CFA certification is mandatory.
• UAE real estate development experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills and advanced financial modelling capability.
• Power BI experience is an advantage.
• ERP or CRM systems experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, with clear communication to non-finance departments.

Pay

• The stated pay is AED 9,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
