Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Regional HQ in Doha, Qatar (with extensive travelling in GCC & Asia) for managing new projects to be developed and existing projects to be managed within the GCC & Asia region

Industry: Food Manufacturing / Industrial Bakery

Salary Range: QAR 18,000 – 22,000 (All Inclusive, Negotiable)

Scope

A reputed organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end setup and execution of large-scale industrial bakery projects across GCC & Asia.

The role requires managing full project lifecycles—from concept development and facility setup to production readiness and operational launch—while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilties

• Lead full project lifecycle from concept, design, and setup to operational launch

• Manage stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams

• Plan, monitor, and deliver projects within timelines, budget, and specifications

• Oversee procurement and installation of industrial bakery machinery and equipment

• Review and interpret AutoCAD drawings (layout, mechanical, and electrical)

• Supervise engineers, technical teams, and vendors for smooth execution

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards

• Prepare project reports, budgets, and progress management updates and stakeholders

• Coordinate with R&D, production, and operations teams to ensure that machinery and ingredient setups meet production goals and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management or a related field

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience

• Proven experience in food manufacturing or industrial bakery projects

• Strong technical knowledge of baking processes and automated production lines

• Experience handling large-scale factory setup projects

• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD (MEP/layout) drawings

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and planning skills

• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Willingness to travel across GCC & Asia when required

• Fluency in English (proficiency in Arabic is an advantage)

Preferred Attributes

• Project Management Professional or equivalent project management certification
• Previous experience in setting up or managing industrial or automated bakery factories.
• Knowledge of EU and regional food safety and equipment compliance standards
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
