Role Description
The Senior Project Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scopes, developing schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing stakeholder expectations.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee expediting activities, track deliverables, and resolve issues related to logistics, inspections, and vendor performance.
The role also includes preparing progress reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and implementing risk and change management practices to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong project oversight capabilities, including Project Management, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience with Expeditor and Expediting functions, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation from vendors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Inspection processes, including coordination of quality checks, compliance reviews, and documentation of findings.
- Knowledge of Logistics Management, including planning shipments, tracking deliveries, and optimizing material flow across project sites.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are preferred.
- Previous experience in project-based environments within construction, engineering, energy, or related industries, preferably in the region.
