Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a combination of on-site client meetings and office collaboration, as well as some work-from-home flexibility.

In this role, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a pipeline of prospects, and support the development of proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.

You will nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, conduct market and competitor research, and gather insights to inform go-to-market initiatives.

Day to day, you will coordinate with internal teams to align offerings with client requirements, track performance against targets, and provide regular reporting on sales activities and outcomes.

You will also represent Wise&Simple at relevant events, meetings, and online forums to enhance brand visibility and expand the partner network.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in business development, sales, or account management, including building pipelines, qualifying leads, and closing opportunities.
  • Experience in client relationship management, with strong skills in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and consultative selling.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities to assess markets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business opportunities.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and written proposals.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Dubai, managing time effectively across in-person meetings and remote work.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt quickly in a growing, evolving organization.
  • Prior experience in the UAE or GCC market is an advantage; familiarity with local business practices is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience in business development.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic productivity software to track activities, manage contacts, and report on performance.
  • Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory business practices in all client and team interactions.
