Senior Project Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategy maps, implementation plans, and KPIs; lead project delivery and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, resource tracking, risk and issue registers, and delivery controls.
• Lead status meetings and workshops, manage change requests, and review strategic programs and project performance.
• Prepare management reports, maintain stakeholder alignment, and guide Project Managers and project teams.
• Evaluate proposals, capture lessons learned, improve project standards, and identify operational efficiencies, product enhancements, pricing initiatives, and growth channels.

Experience

• 8–10 years of relevant project management and strategy experience in banking or financial services; experience with leading banks is preferred.
• Experience leading business change and transformation initiatives as a Project Manager, Project Lead, or Business Analyst.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, cross-functional stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Experience in project governance, budget monitoring, risk management, and senior management reporting.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder management, facilitation, influencing, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• PMP certification is required.
