Overview

Role Description This part-time Senior Project Manager role at Owais Capital | أويس المالية is a hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners, tracking progress against milestones, and resolving issues that could impact scope, budget, or timeline.

The Senior Project Manager will supervise expediting and logistics activities, review inspection reports, and ensure that project documentation and reporting are accurate and up to date.

The role also includes continuous improvement of project processes, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to strategic decision-making for key initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong project leadership skills, including advanced Project Management expertise in planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Expeditor and Expediting functions to manage order follow-up, vendor coordination, and timely delivery of project materials and services.
  • Experience with Inspection activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Solid Logistics Management capabilities to coordinate transportation, scheduling, and warehousing for project-related materials and equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to reporting and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field; relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
  • Prior experience in financial services, investment management, or a related sector in the GCC region is considered an advantage.
