Role Description
The Quality Assurance Manager at Owais Capital | أويس المالية will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of QA frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure high standards across financial products, services, and internal operations.
This part-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and the flexibility to work from home as business needs allow.
Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing QA reviews and audits, monitoring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and documenting findings with clear, actionable recommendations.
The manager will collaborate closely with operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams to define quality metrics, investigate issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
The role also includes preparing QA reports and dashboards for leadership, supporting training on quality standards, and contributing to process optimization initiatives to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or internal audit within financial services, investment management, or a related regulated industry.
- Strong skills in developing, implementing, and maintaining QA frameworks, test plans, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to analyze processes and data, identify gaps or risks, and propose practical, risk-based solutions and process improvements.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in governance and risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, hybrid work environment.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, QA tools, and documentation platforms; experience with basic data analysis or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CQIA, CQA, CIA, ISO auditor) are a plus.
- Experience working in or with organizations in the UAE or GCC region is beneficial; Arabic language skills are an advantage but not required.
