The role is based in Swindon, with regular travel expected to Cardiff and Bristol.
What you'll do
- Lead complex rail systems project delivery and growing civils integration, meeting client requirements, safety standards, cost targets and schedule commitments.
- Act as a client-facing partner, support co-located working in Cardiff for Burns Station and build confidence for future pipeline growth.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary rail systems, civils, project controls and Enterprise Capabilities teams across locations.
- Own integrated programme plans, baselines, risks, issues and change; direct teams across Swindon, Bristol and Cardiff.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Capabilities in India and project controls teams to strengthen delivery across the programme and portfolio.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience delivering complex rail projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, with client-facing leadership.
- Expertise in rail systems delivery and experience managing civils interfaces or multidisciplinary programmes.
- Strong programme controls, governance and reporting capability across schedule, cost, risk, change and performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills in co-located, multi-organisation environments.
- Able to travel regularly between Swindon, Cardiff and Bristol and attend mandatory in-person meetings.
