Role and team

Senior Product Manager on Jobber’s AI Workflows organization, responsible for its Automations Platform.

The platform supports Jobber Teammate automations for home service businesses and is used across Jobber products.

The role combines platform development with building and shipping automations on the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own automation authoring, execution, evaluation, and improvement models.
  • Enable product teams to ship automations faster and at lower cost, measuring their throughput.
  • Choose and build high-impact automations that service providers can find, enable, and trust.
  • Build an evaluation platform to support iteration and raise automation quality.
  • Partner with AI Foundations engineering by providing product requirements for agent infrastructure.
  • Measure build cost and speed, engagement, and growth of the automation library.
  • Develop understanding of recurring work in home service businesses and eventually support provider-created, shareable automations.

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience and evidence of shipping AI products with long-term outcomes.
  • Experience building an AI platform adopted through advocacy, tooling, and documentation.
  • Experience shipping LLM-backed or ML-backed products and understanding how they fail.
  • Track record of making contested technical decisions stick and comfort with unit economics.
  • Growth mindset and ability to thrive in a changing, ambiguous environment.

Bonus experience

  • Agent frameworks, tool calling, or AI evaluation and observability systems are bonuses.
  • Workflow automation or no-code and low-code builder products are bonuses.
  • Home services, field service, or SMB software experience is a bonus.

Location

  • Candidates must be based in one of the listed hub cities: Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Boston.
  • The employer says collaboration sometimes involves coming together in person; it does not specify a required workplace type.

Compensation

  • Annual base salary range is $145,900 to $197,400, with a midpoint of $171,600.
  • Total compensation includes equity, health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, and extended health benefits.

Hiring process

  • The process includes a talent team interview, hiring manager interview, take-home challenge with functional follow-up, and senior leadership interview.
