Senior Procurement Engineer – MEP Division

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for MEP projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and subcontractors.
• Finalize and procure major electrical and MEP systems including:

• Electrical Installation Subcontractors

• ELV Systems
• (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Fire Alarm, BMS)

• Lighting Control Systems

• Switchgears
• Transformers
• LV Panels / MDB / SMDB / DB

• Cable Management Systems

• HVAC Equipment and Accessories

• Fire Fighting Systems

• Pumps and Water Supply Systems
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize subcontractors for electrical and MEP installations.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications, and BOQ to determine procurement requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare detailed comparative statements.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations for procurement decision-making.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve project cost optimization.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for material approvals, delivery tracking, and dispatch documentation.
• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure materials are delivered as per project timelines.
• Maintain vendor database and conduct vendor evaluation and development for strategic procurement.
• Handle import/export documentation and logistics coordination when required.
• Work closely with project teams, estimation, and engineering departments to align procurement with project execution.
