Senior Process Engineer responsible for safe, reliable, and economically viable process package design and development.
The role ensures package process designs meet internal and international codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure simulations and calculations comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and design codes.
- Optimize designs to reduce product cost and improve overall performance.
- Check process documentation for technical accuracy.
- Represent the company at HAZOP, SIL, and other design meetings.
- Respond to technical enquiries and comments from clients and third parties.
- Review project specifications to identify key process design factors.
- Perform and review concept designs and technical aspects of bid submissions.
- Perform and review calculations for packages and individual components.
- Review quotations for complex bought-out items.
- Provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and maintain a sound understanding of company products.
Qualifications and experience
- Engineering degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- At least 8 years of process design experience in Oil & Gas or a related industry.
- Familiarity with international process design standards.
- Familiarity with HYSYS or VMG for process simulation.
- Strong expertise in process simulations and engineering calculations.
