Drafting Coordinator-EPP-KSA
Role Overview
Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Coordinate, manage, and oversee computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) workflows for both 3D and 2D software models.
• Review rough sketches and supervise the production of detailed work using CADD systems.
• Lead the preparation, review, and redrafting processes in close coordination alongside the engineering team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards and guaranteeing team deliverables.
• Manage, maintain, and audit drawing archives and organized records, ensuring all revisions, updates, and transmittals are properly documented.
• Assist, participate, and coordinate in the compilation of basic process design data; finalizes process scheme & equipment selection.
• Act as the primary liaison to assist design engineers for process and design.
• Carry out, review, and approve process and detailed designs, specifically for piping & gas.
• Prepares and verifies preliminary designs, drawings, detailed drawings, and fabrication details.
• Participates with the design engineer in the final selection of process, plant, and equipment.
• Liaises actively with project & proposals engineers to ensure smooth implementation of design; carries out design checks and certification as required.
• Oversee product standardization and manage project engineering documentation systems.
• Carries out any other duties related to the area of expertise as assigned by the design manager or his designee.

Qualifications and experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
QHSE commitments
- Implement QHSE policies and ISO procedures and follow safety rules.
- Follow road traffic rules while driving to and from work.
- Before visiting a site, factory, or warehouse, inform the safety team, complete the required induction and LMRA, and prepare required PPE.
- Maintain office safety and cleanliness, report workplace hazards, and alert HR/HSE to stress, fatigue, harassment, or bullying.
