Develop, analyze, and maintain competitive, commercially viable pricing solutions that support business growth and profitability.
Pricing and commercial support
- Support Sales with pricing, quotations, estimates, and commercial proposals for negotiations and contract opportunities.
- Prepare and manage spot quotes based on customer requirements, costs, market conditions, and approved pricing guidelines.
- Analyze customer requirements, shipment profiles, volumes, services, and costs to develop viable pricing proposals.
- Support customer negotiations with pricing analysis, cost breakdowns, and commercial recommendations.
Tenders, reporting, and governance
- Coordinate tenders and RFQs, including pre-qualification requirements, documentation, pricing submissions, and timely proposal submission.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to address tender requirements.
- Follow up on submitted proposals, spot quotes, and tenders and monitor their status with customers.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports; identify pricing trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Ensure pricing follows company policies, approval requirements, and commercial guidelines; perform other assigned related duties and projects.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or supply chain solutions.
- Five years of work experience, including at least two years in the industry in a similar capacity.
Skills and characteristics
- Strong commercial and business acumen; analytical and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
