Role purpose

Tendering and pricing

• Conduct market intelligence to identify potential projects and lead tenders from receipt of customer requirements through submission and final negotiations.
• Review tender documents, customer requirements, specifications, and commercial terms to identify requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate stakeholders to develop competitive, sustainable tender solutions and prepare proposals, pricing, costing, service solutions, and supporting documents.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, complete, commercially viable, and on time; balance service quality, operational feasibility, and profitability.
• Conduct pricing and profitability analysis and identify commercial, operational, contractual, and financial risks and mitigations.
• Coordinate clarification questions and responses and support customer negotiations to secure profitable business.

Pipeline, reporting, and governance

• Maintain a structured tender pipeline and follow up on active and upcoming opportunities.
• Report tender status, win/loss rates, pipeline, revenue potential, and profitability to management.
• Improve tendering processes, templates, pricing tools, and best practices; conduct post-tender reviews and identify lessons learned.
• Comply with company policies, approval procedures, pricing guidelines, governance, and legal requirements while safeguarding company interests.
• Finalize customer contracts, incorporate required changes, and ensure authorized signatories sign the final draft.
• Perform other related duties or projects assigned by the Project Manager.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree, for example in logistics or transportation; a master's degree is preferable.
• Five years of experience in a similar field.

• Communication and MS Office skills.
• Air and sea pricing knowledge and project pricing knowledge.
