Coordinates warehouse floor operations to reduce handling errors and damage, maintain pick-and-pack accuracy, follow company procedures, and support productivity and customer satisfaction.
Warehouse operations
- Allocate manpower and equipment, prioritize orders, plan warehouse space, supervise picking, packing, and put-away, and improve resource utilization.
- Assign bin locations and verify storage instructions to support efficient retrieval and outbound picking.
- Recheck manual picking and put-away lists for quantities, dimensions, and products.
- Ensure outbound packing follows country and customer specifications and includes required certifications and stickers.
- Document damages and shipment discrepancies, prepare MDNs, and report them to the Client Services Representative.
- Conduct stock, cycle, and location checks; reconcile discrepancies and prepare variance reports.
- Apply QHSE and security procedures, maintain housekeeping, and take corrective action when needed.
- Manage staff attendance and compliance with uniform and safety-shoe requirements.
- Escalate potential problems and improvement opportunities to the Supervisor.
- Respond to client queries within 24 hours; track manually issued materials and follow up on MRs and STOs.
- Prepare KPI and other project, ALS, or client reports; arrange MHE for safe loading and offloading.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or graduate qualification in any discipline.
- 3 to 4 years of warehousing and distribution experience, including 1 year in a similar position.
- Financial acumen, MS Office skills, and knowledge of WMS.
- Ability to work independently; communication, results orientation, and planning and organizing skills.
