Senior PMV Engineer – Construction

We are looking to hire Senior PMV Engineer – Construction

Manage the daily operations of the PMV department.

Monitor the utilization and productivity of construction equipment and vehicles.

Ensure the availability of machinery to support project requirements.

Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of equipment between project sites.

Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Ensure timely repairs and maintenance activities.

Supervise workshop operations and maintenance personnel.

Manage company vehicles, heavy equipment, and related assets.

Monitor fuel consumption and optimize operating costs.

Ensure vehicle registrations, insurance, and permits are valid and renewed on time.

Maintain accurate records of equipment history and maintenance schedules.

Prepare and control PMV budgets and maintenance costs.

Monitor equipment operating costs and recommend cost-saving measures.

Analyze equipment utilization reports and replacement requirements.

Evaluate repair versus replacement decisions.

Coordinate with Procurement for spare parts, equipment rentals, and service contracts.

Evaluate suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.

Review quotations and technical specifications for equipment purchases.

Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and UAE regulations.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment safety and operational readiness.

Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure operators and drivers possess valid licenses and certifications.

Maintain asset registers and equipment records.

Prepare monthly reports on utilization, maintenance, fuel consumption, and downtime.

Provide management with recommendations on fleet expansion, replacement, and optimization.

Maintain records of warranties, service contracts, and calibration certificates.

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Professional certifications related to fleet or maintenance management are an advantage.

Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Experience managing heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, loaders, generators, compressors, and transport vehicles.

Familiarity with equipment maintenance systems and fleet management software.

Experience in coordinating with project teams, workshops, and external vendors.
