Overview
We are looking to hire QA/QC Manager (Construction)
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and inspection plans.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
Monitor all site activities to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure proper execution.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third parties for inspections and approvals.
Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
Lead internal and external quality audits.
Identify non-conformance issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
Supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all quality-related activities.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Prepare and submit quality reports to management and clients.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a QA/QC Manager role.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
Certification in ISO 9001 QMS (Lead Auditor preferred).
Experience
in large-scale projects (infrastructure/buildings).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Leadership and team management
Knowledge of quality standards and auditing
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
