Overview
We are looking to hire Civil Project Engineer (Construction)
Job Summary
The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising civil construction activities, ensuring that projects such as buildings, infrastructure, and structural works are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil works on site.
Review civil drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers.
Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.
Prepare and submit RFIs, shop drawings, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with project schedule and construction milestones.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues.
Ensure quality control of concrete, steel, and finishing works.
Coordinate material delivery and ensure proper usage on site.
Prepare progress reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
Follow up on approvals from consultants and authorities.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and Abu Dhabi construction regulations.
Support cost control, variation orders, and project documentation.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in civil construction projects (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of structural and civil construction methods.
Experience
in high-rise buildings, villas, or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantities, and site execution.
Good communication and coordination skills.
