Design, build, and evolve a reusable Azure AI platform and hybrid-cloud ecosystem for a large financial enterprise.
Create secure cloud-native platform capabilities and operationalize AI services for application teams.
Platform and infrastructure responsibilities
- Architect modular Azure AI platform capabilities, including boundaries, contracts, tenancy, scaling, and secure integration.
- Standardize shared AI services and application access through APIs, SDKs, templates, and reference implementations.
- Create reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns with networking, identity, security, tagging, and observability built in.
- Implement policy-as-code, automated validation, and self-service provisioning through GitHub Actions or platform APIs.
Runtime and operations
- Operate AI orchestration with service contracts, reusable patterns, release management, documentation, onboarding, and continuous improvement.
- Build production runtimes on AKS and Azure Container Apps for APIs, agents, MCP servers, and asynchronous workloads.
- Manage API lifecycles using Azure APIM and Kong for secure, performant service communication.
Technical requirements
- At least 8 years of Azure Cloud Platform experience; expertise in Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI Service; deep hands-on expertise with AKS, Azure Container Apps, Azure OpenAI, APIM, identity, and private networking.
- Expert network architecture knowledge, including VNETs, peering, firewalls, and private links; hands-on Azure API Management or Kong experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, platform APIs, SDK design, observability, and SRE; ability to provide cloud and solutions architecture guidance.
- Ability to translate security, risk, and compliance requirements into automated platform controls.
