Role Overview

The posting describes a Planning Engineer supporting the planning team with project schedules, monitoring, reporting, and project controls.

The role supports construction projects involving buildings, infrastructure, airports, and MEP/ELV works.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor progress against approved baseline programmes.
  • Collect and consolidate progress information from site teams and subcontractors.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and look-ahead programmes.
  • Help identify delays and support recovery planning.
  • Maintain planning records, programme updates, and project documentation.
  • Support project controls, progress reporting, delay analysis, and Extension of Time preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of construction-industry planning experience.
  • Exposure to buildings, infrastructure, airports, or MEP/ELV projects.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with progress reporting and Earned Value concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills

  • Power BI and PowerPoint experience is desirable.
