We are looking for a data-driven, commercially minded Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across our direct-to-consumer brands.
This is not a campaign management role.
We are looking for someone who understands the entire customer journey—from first impression to repeat purchase—and can scale profitable revenue across multiple channels while maintaining strong unit economics.
You will own paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, conversion rate optimization, attribution, analytics, and growth strategy.
The ideal candidate has successfully scaled DTC brands across European markets and has hands-on expertise managing significant monthly advertising budgets.
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Own and scale customer acquisition across Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube).
- Manage and optimize advertising budgets ranging from €100k to €1M+ per month.
- Develop audience, creative, bidding, and campaign strategies to maximize profitable growth.
- Continuously test and improve acquisition funnels through structured experimentation.
- Monitor and improve key metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, AOV, and contribution margin.
Email & Lifecycle Marketing
- Own retention marketing strategy across email and SMS platforms such as Klaviyo.
- Build and optimize automated flows including:
- Welcome Series
- Abandoned Cart
- Browse Abandonment
- Post-Purchase
- Winback Campaigns
- VIP Segmentation
- Develop campaign calendars and promotional strategies.
- Improve customer retention, repeat purchase rates, and customer lifetime value.
Conversion Rate Optimization (Cro)
- Lead website conversion optimization initiatives.
- Identify friction points across the customer journey.
- Design and execute A/B tests across:
- Landing Pages
- Product Pages
- Checkout Experience
- Offer Positioning
- Messaging and Creative
- Collaborate with designers and developers to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
Analytics, Attribution & Measurement
- Own marketing analytics and attribution frameworks.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards using GA4, Looker Studio, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar platforms.
- Analyze attribution models and reconcile discrepancies between platform-reported and actual revenue.
- Ensure accurate tracking implementation across:
- GA4
• Google Ads Conversion Tracking
- Server-Side Tracking
- CRM and Email Platforms
- Deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Growth & Commercial Strategy
- Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Identify new growth opportunities across channels, markets, audiences, and products.
- Work closely with creative teams to develop high-performing ad concepts and offers.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast growth, allocate budgets, and improve profitability.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience scaling direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
- Proven track record managing and scaling seven-figure monthly advertising budgets.
- Deep expertise in:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- Klaviyo or equivalent email marketing platforms
• Attribution & Marketing Measurement
- Strong understanding of:
• Lifetime Value (LTV)
- ROAS
- MER
- Cohort Analysis
- Incrementality Testing
- Experience operating across multiple European markets.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Ability to translate data into profitable growth initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling brands across the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, and broader EU markets.
- Experience implementing server-side tracking and conversion APIs.
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Triple Whale
- Northbeam
- Hyros
- Segment
- BigQuery
- Looker Studio
- Hotjar
- Microsoft Clarity
- Experience leading agencies, freelancers, or in-house marketing teams.
What Success Looks Like
- Within your first 12 months, you will:
- Increase profitable revenue while maintaining target acquisition costs.
- Improve marketing attribution accuracy and reporting.
- Increase website conversion rates through structured CRO testing.
- Grow customer lifetime value through lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Build a scalable acquisition and retention engine capable of supporting rapid international growth.
