Role overview

Senior .NET Engineer designing, developing, and optimizing scalable, performant domain-driven microservices for real-time trading applications.

The role focuses on low-latency, high-concurrency systems and fintech solutions, working with cross-functional teams in an Agile squad.

Responsibilities

  • Build real-time .NET Core microservices and optimize low-latency, high-throughput trading workloads.
  • Use concurrency, asynchronous programming, and event-driven designs; ensure thread safety, fault tolerance, and efficient data-stream processing.
  • Contribute to Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice, and CQRS designs, aligning solutions with trading business needs.
  • Participate in Scrum workflows, refine requirements with product owners and scrum masters, and deliver quality software.
  • Write maintainable, testable code; practice TDD and code reviews; maintain unit, integration, and performance test coverage.
  • Implement OpenTelemetry and build Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana dashboards for system observability.

Required expertise

  • 5+ years of software development experience focused on .NET Core and C#.
  • Deep multithreading, asynchronous programming, and distributed-systems concurrency expertise.
  • Extensive domain-driven microservices experience and advanced architecture patterns such as Clean Architecture or Vertical Slice Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven systems and Kafka, AWS SQS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Proficiency with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic/Kibana.
  • Hands-on CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes experience; expertise in Agile/Scrum and Git.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot/Codex, or Cursor.

Beneficial skills and qualifications

  • Saga patterns, trading or financial systems, low-latency/high-concurrency environments, and relational database optimization are beneficial.
  • Relevant certifications in software development, system architecture, or AWS technologies are advantageous.
