Senior MEP Engineer

Role details

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise MEP work and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, water supply, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Review IFC, shop, and coordinated drawings, specifications, and material submittals; coordinate MEP work with other project disciplines.
• Resolve design clashes and technical issues with consultants and subcontractors and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, UAE regulations, and standards.
• Monitor site progress, workforce, materials, and subcontractors; conduct inspections and verify workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams; review and approve applicable drawings, submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover; implement health, safety, and quality requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, coordinate site meetings, maintain documentation, and support project delivery within schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of UAE MEP building-construction experience; the posting header states 12–18 years.
• Mandatory experience on luxury villas and high-end residential projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Experience with site execution, technical coordination, project supervision, and review of drawings, submittals, method statements, and specifications.
• Knowledge of UAE authorities, building codes, MEP standards, quality control, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordination, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational abilities; manage multiple site activities and deadlines.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 8,000–18,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
