Role overview

Drafting and coordination duties

• Prepare detailed MEP shop, coordination, and as-built drawings, including builder’s work drawings.
• Develop coordinated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts for HVAC, drainage, water supply, lighting, power, and low-current systems.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and interior fit-out drawings; review IFC and tender drawings, specifications, and consultant requirements.
• Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and other building systems.
• Revise drawings in response to consultant comments and site requirements; coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve technical and drawing issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority regulations, applicable standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and document control; provide accurate, timely drawings for project execution.

Candidate requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience in luxury villa and high-end residential projects.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD; strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and other MEP systems.
• Proven experience with MEP shop, coordination, and as-built drawings; understanding of coordination, clash detection, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay

• AED 5,000–8,500 per month.

• Work is in person in Dubai, UAE.
