Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business by coordinating with brokers and clients, managing enquiries, and handling quotation requests and tenders
- Perform technical risk assessments, pricing, approvals, and follow-ups to secure business
- Respond to client and broker queries regarding policy coverage, terms, and regulatory updates
- Monitor portfolio performance, pricing, loss ratios, and renewals; prepare analysis and regulatory reports
- Oversee reinsurance arrangements and ensure proper placement for each risk
- Stay updated on UAE health insurance regulations (DoH/DHA) and communicate changes to stakeholders
- Support corporate initiatives, new products, service propositions, and presentations
- Supervise day-to-day operations and the Operations/Policy Servicing team
- Participate in system reviews, enhancements, and maintain updated procedures and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in medical underwriting, with 2–3 years in a senior role
- Knowledge of health insurance products and medical terminology
- UAE medical insurance underwriting experience preferred
- Familiarity with DoH / DHA regulations is an advantage
- Strong English communication skills
