Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Sr.

Mechanical Procurement Engineer to join our

team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to

mechanical materials, equipment, and services while ensuring compliance with project specifications,

budgets, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for mechanical materials, equipment, and related services.
  • Review technical specifications, BOQs, and project requirements for procurement purposes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams regarding
  • procurement activities.
  • Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and support technical and commercial comparisons.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in accordance with project schedules.
  • Monitor procurement status and resolve issues related to material supply and delivery.
  • Support cost optimization and ensure compliance with approved budgets and company
  • procedures.
  • Maintain procurement records, documentation, and supplier databases.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in mechanical procurement within construction
  • projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical materials, equipment, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in technical evaluation, supplier coordination, and procurement management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and procurement-related software.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is preferred/required
