Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr.

Material Engineer to join our project team.

The

selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing material engineering activities, ensuring all

construction materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and approved requirements

while supporting efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve construction materials in accordance with project specifications and
  • standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams regarding materialrelated matters.
  • Evaluate material submittals, technical data sheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor material quality, testing activities, and site inspections to ensure compliance with
  • approved standards.
  • Support procurement and project teams in selecting suitable construction materials.
  • Identify and resolve material-related technical issues during project execution.
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of approved materials and testing records.
  • Prepare material reports and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in material engineering within construction
  • projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards.
  • Experience in reviewing material submittals and coordinating with project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is preferred/required.
