The Senior Manager - Digital Asset Compliance is part of the Design Excellence vertical in the Central Development Unit.
The Virtual City team maintains Qiddiya City's Unreal Engine environment, linking GIS, BIM, and IMS data for visualization, simulation, collaboration, and development decisions.
The role provides technical oversight and quality control for Virtual City digital assets built in Unreal Engine.
Core responsibilities
- Ensure digital models combining BIM, GIS, and engineering data comply with technical standards and file structures.
- Maintain technical excellence and improve digital asset management workflows across the Qiddiya program.
- Oversee the quality and structure of Unreal Engine digital models and assets.
- Develop and enforce technical standards for digital modeling and compliance.
- Evaluate model updates from external consultants and designers.
- Maintain file structures, workflows, and documentation for technical compliance.
- Troubleshoot integration and modeling issues; continually improve workflow and model integrity.
- Apply best practices for asset compliance and digital data management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Game Development, Digital Media, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
- At least 7 years developing real-time 3D applications in Unreal Engine and/or other virtual production pipelines.
- Experience in quality control and technical troubleshooting for digital asset management and model integrity.
- Strong BIM, GIS, and complex digital asset management background.
- Ability to create and maintain technical workflows, file structures, and compliance documentation.
- Unreal Engine proficiency and extensive digital modeling experience in architectural visualization.
- Previous KSA/Middle East experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English and in-depth knowledge of enterprise-level digital design solutions and applications.
- Professional registration in the relevant discipline is advantageous.
