Operate, administer, monitor, and optimize the organization's cloud environments.
Keep cloud services available, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient while providing advanced technical support and improving operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and support enterprise cloud platforms; maintain availability, stability, performance, and readiness.
- Monitor infrastructure and resolve performance, capacity, availability, and configuration issues; provide L3 support for complex incidents, service requests, and changes.
- Perform cloud patching, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle activities; implement automation to reduce repetitive work.
- Support cloud security, identity and access management, configuration standards, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Support incident, problem, and change management, including root-cause analysis; monitor utilization and support FinOps cost optimization.
- Maintain documentation, procedures, runbooks, and SOPs; collaborate across infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, application, architecture, and DevOps teams.
- Support migrations, deployments, configuration changes, and on-premises integrations; maintain monitoring, alerting, backup, recovery, and high availability.
- Identify improvements to cloud reliability, scalability, security, and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 5–8 years of relevant IT or infrastructure experience, including strong hands-on exposure to cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with one or more major platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
