Role overview

Travel

• The role requires ability and willingness to travel throughout the Ontario North and East region, including Ottawa, Kingston, Durham, and North Bay.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships, grow portfolio revenue, recognize client needs, enhance loyalty, and identify opportunities for additional RBC products.
• Coordinate end-to-end cash management onboarding as the client point of contact, following up to support an exceptional client experience.
• Partner with Relationship Managers on client contact strategies and annual relationship reviews to identify future client needs.
• Give clients tailored advice and insights on emerging issues affecting their businesses.
• Execute client sales plans and present differentiated financial and business advice, explaining solutions and alternatives and helping clients implement them.
• Identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC partners to meet broader advice needs.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of related commercial or corporate banking sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of cash management products and emerging industry trends.
• Proven client advice or service, sales, and relationship management experience, with ability to match client needs to products and structure solutions.
• Demonstrated project management, organizational, and time management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with software applications, including MS Office.

Preferred qualifications

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation or similar qualification is an asset.
• Bilingual English/French communication skills are an asset.
