Role overview

Project delivery responsibilities

• Execute projects in line with approved plans, briefs, contract requirements, programme, budget, quality standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate requisitions and project initiation for consultants, contractors, enabling works, and specialist services.
• Monitor construction progress, critical path, procurement, design deliverables, material approvals, resources, and productivity against programme and VOWD targets.
• Review execution and recovery plans, track actions, and escalate delays, constraints, or underperformance.
• Coordinate technical queries, RFIs, design interfaces, constructability, mock-ups, material submissions, and site issues.
• Track commitments, expenditure, cash flow, payment applications, variations, claims, forecasts, and potential cost exposure.
• Maintain project risk, issue, change, and decision registers; record and escalate impacts on delivery and handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• PMP or an equivalent recognized project management certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10–12 years of relevant construction and project delivery experience, including 4–6 years managing large-scale or multidisciplinary real estate projects.
• Hands-on experience in site execution, contractor and consultant coordination, programme recovery, cost and change control, authority interfaces, testing and commissioning, handover, and close-out.
• UAE developer-side experience is strongly preferred.

Required knowledge

• Practical knowledge of developer-side project execution, construction management, contract administration, programme and cost control, quality, HSE, approvals, testing and commissioning, handover, DLP, and close-out.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, Dubai construction regulations, statutory approvals, utility requirements, and applicable environmental and quality standards.
