Job purpose
Support health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the DHAM portfolio and entities.
Provide operational HSE support including hazard analysis, risk assessment, accident prevention, hazardous-material management, emergency preparedness, fire and life safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Support HSE policy, procedure, and emergency-response system implementation.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor critical risks, Permit-to-Work activities, and compliance across operational and project environments.
- Support reporting, performance tracking, risk registers, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate HSE requirements with internal teams, contractors, service providers, and stakeholders.
- Support HSE training, awareness programs, workshops, and committee meetings.
- Promote a safe, sustainable workplace through continuous improvement, environmental management, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Occupational Safety and Health, or Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
- A current relevant health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, CSP Certificate, or equivalent is preferred.
Desirable qualifications
- Lead Auditor ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 competency certification is desirable.
- IOSH membership or similar professional association membership is desirable.
