Senior Manager - Production & Technical Integration

Job summary

Production and venue operations

• Lead production operations across venues and sites, delivering safely, efficiently, and in line with approved plans.
• Oversee production schedules, workflows, resource deployment, performance, and operational issue resolution.
• Manage venue and back-of-house readiness, setup, changeovers, occupancy transitions, and production support.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety requirements, and established procedures.

Rehearsals, shows, and logistics

• Lead rehearsal planning and execution and oversee show operations across venues and event locations.
• Manage operational responses to production issues during rehearsals and live events.
• Oversee movement, deployment, and recovery of equipment, materials, personnel, and other operational resources.
• Coordinate resource use across concurrent events and ensure timely availability of required assets and services.

Readiness, integration, and stakeholders

• Lead readiness activities and assessments, coordinate mitigation plans for gaps and risks, and prepare teams, venues, and services for live operations.
• Integrate production delivery requirements with site-wide services and broader Expo operational planning.
• Liaise between production teams and internal operational stakeholders; provide updates, readiness assessments, and performance reports to the Senior Director.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration in support of event delivery.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience for bachelor’s degree holders, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience managing large-scale entertainment, event, or production operations in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience overseeing venues, back-of-house activities, rehearsals, logistics, show operations, and operational readiness.
• Experience integrating production with site-wide services and working with internal operational teams.
• Experience managing contractors, service providers, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced event environments.

Preferred certification

• PMP or another recognized project management, event production, operational risk, or HSE certification is preferred.
