  • Guide automation and AI in financial workflows, including trustworthy and appropriately controlled human-in-the-loop experiences.
  • Lead, coach, hire, and develop 4–5 product designers through discovery, execution, launch, and iteration.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on strategy, success metrics, priorities, trade-offs, and decisions.
  • Understand financial workflows and constraints at solo to mid-market law firms.
  • Raise standards for usability, accessibility, and consistency across financial experiences.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years managing and developing designers.
  • Fintech product design experience, such as payments, billing, or invoicing, and understanding of business money flows.
  • Experience with complex B2B products, ideally serving small to mid-market customers.
  • Strong UX craft, vision work, interaction design, and ability to model high-quality design.
  • Strong AI product design understanding, including safe, trustworthy, transparent human-in-the-loop experiences.
  • Systems thinking and platform mindset for scalable experiences across connected products.
  • Fluency with modern design, prototyping, and AI tools; examples include Claude, Figma, and Cursor.
  • Experience with WCAG accessibility standards.

Location and work arrangement

  • The company describes a hybrid work environment, with local employees in several listed cities expected in-office at least twice per week.
  • The role averages around six trips per year.

Compensation

  • Expected salary range is CAD 188,000 to CAD 282,000 per year; placement depends on geographic region, experience, and skillset.
