Senior Manager Process Re-Engineering

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze current operations to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
• Prioritize re-engineering, automation, and AI opportunities and validate findings with stakeholders.
• Build business cases for pilots and deployments, including ROI, risk, and sensitivity analysis.
• Design lean future-state processes and lead collaborative redesign workshops.
• Assess technical feasibility, data readiness, operational execution, and enterprise integration.
• Lead transformation programs through strategy, design, delivery, and value realization.
• Maintain delivery timelines and focus on measurable business outcomes.
• Establish enterprise process engineering standards and repeatable frameworks.
• Promote continuous improvement and experimentation with emerging technologies.
• Lead agile and cross-functional teams and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Present strategies, findings, feasibility, opportunities, and outcomes to senior audiences.

Must-have qualifications

• 5+ years in process engineering, business transformation, or operations management in a large enterprise or financial services environment.
• Expertise in process design, value stream analysis, Lean or continuous improvement, and process optimization.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation from strategy through execution and value realization.
• Understanding of AI, RPA, and automation in business process transformation.
• Ability to develop business cases with financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills using complex operational data.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in matrix environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools, process mapping software, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms.
• Track record of measurable business outcomes and enterprise impact.
• Experience with large IT projects, complex technology integration, and IT or Enterprise Architecture partners.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Innovation, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial services processes and banking operations; banking or transaction-processing experience.
• Experience with GenAI, AI agents, workflow automation, digital transformation, or agile cross-functional teams.
