Overview

We are growing our team at Spark.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Manager to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies and plans across multiple clients and industries.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring delivery against client and agency KPIs.
  • Oversee media planning quality control, ensuring strategic, data-driven, and innovative output.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective integrated campaigns across offline and online channels.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working effectively under pressure.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead junior team members, fostering collaboration and continuous growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Strong understanding of media planning, buying, and strategy across digital and traditional channels.
  • Expert knowledge of industry tools and platforms including DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads Manager, X/Twitter Ads Manager, GWI, WARC, SimilarWeb, Euromonitor, and other planning tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research, sales, brand health, awareness, and competitive data to generate actionable insights.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify ROI opportunities and drive business performance.
  • Ability to translate client briefs into effective media strategies and plans aligned to business objectives.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of emerging digital trends, commerce, and evolving media technologies.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to problem solve, manage conflict, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrates collaboration, agility, resilience, accountability, and a growth mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in media planning, strategy, or a related role within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex client portfolios.
  • Digital certifications across major platforms including Google, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and X/Twitter are highly preferred.
  • OOH & TV experience would be highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Native Arabic talent is required for this role
  • Experience in business development and identifying growth opportunities is advantageous.
