Senior Manager – Mechanical role based in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC, plumbing, drainage, public health, and fire protection disciplines from design through handover.
- Provide technical leadership to consultants and project teams and ensure designs meet project, budget, programme, and quality requirements.
- Review and approve designs, specifications, BIM models, tender documents, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Drive value engineering and design optimization to improve cost, energy efficiency, quality, and asset performance.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, codes, and project specifications.
- Oversee consultants and contractors, site inspections, technical issues, variations, risks, and corrective actions.
- Lead testing, commissioning, authority approvals, and final handover.
- Manage mechanical budgets, procurement evaluations, and claims support.
Requirements
- The role requires mechanical discipline leadership covering HVAC, plumbing, drainage, public health, and fire protection from design through handover.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, budgets, programmes, quality requirements, UAE regulations, authority requirements, codes, and project specifications.
