Role Overview
Execute global gas solutions activities focused on gas projects, products, services, client relationships, and technology initiatives.
Support gas carriers, liquefaction, regasification, and marine gas fuel activities under the direction of the Director of Global Gas Solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor customer and market developments and support global gas business development.
- Communicate with owners, shipyards, designers, and other stakeholders on projects and business development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on gas carriers, floating gas projects, and gas fuel applications.
- Direct professional employees and organize and motivate senior-level professionals.
- Identify product, service, technology, and staffing needs and recommend improvements.
Industry and Business Development
- Participate in industry organizations, client visits, conferences, trade shows, and seminars.
- Promote ABS and ABSC capabilities to existing and potential gas clients.
- Participate in marketing activities, informational content, rule development, research, and external committees.
- Assist the Director of Global Gas Solutions with business development efforts.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Eight or more years of related experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to obtain working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.
- Detailed knowledge of FLNGs, FSRUs, gas carriers, gas fuel systems, and other applicable gas systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for complex technical issues and public presentations.
- Management and human relations skills to direct, organize, and motivate professional employees.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex and unique programmatic issues.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Reporting Relationship
The role reports to a Director or higher-level position.
