Roles and responsibilities
- Oversee invoice generation, distribution, and follow-up, and monitor receivables aging with collections to resolve overdue balances.
- Review and approve billing adjustments, credits, and write-offs under company policies; resolve disputes with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
- Ensure regulatory, internal-control, and financial-policy compliance, and improve billing procedures and workflows.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual billing reports; lead billing and revenue-recognition month-end and year-end close.
- Develop billing KPIs and support internal and external audits with accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance and 9+ years of invoicing experience.
- NetSuite experience is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; process-improvement and standardization orientation.
- Able to prioritize multiple projects, work in ambiguity, and operate independently with a proactive approach.
- Must have managed a team of at least two people for at least one year.
