Senior Manager - Dive Center

Role purpose

Center establishment and operations

• Partner with the Galaxea Cluster Manager to plan and deliver the dive center and its operational components.
• Coordinate with company departments to meet delivery timelines, targets and operational phasing; ensure design, safety, efficiency and brand requirements are met.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and continuously improve standards, with safety as the highest priority.
• Recruit, lead and develop a team of up to 13 diving professionals; support expansion across other assets.

Diving, sales and guest experience

• Oversee safe diving activities and ensure training and certifications follow the standards of their respective agencies.
• Maintain auditable records of activities, training and operations; ensure compliance with the dive safety manual and applicable international standards.
• Plan and coordinate dive-related sales, retail operations and revenue streams.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and partners and deliver professional, premium guest experiences.

Safety, environment and reporting

• Work with Sustainability and SEZ teams to meet environmental and marine conservation requirements.
• Apply safety, quality and environmental policies, maintain legislative compliance and promote marine conservation.
• Prepare timely MIS reports and contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, cost control and guest experience.
• Facilitate photo and video media coverage when directed; media support is secondary to operational duties.

Qualifications and experience

• Certified PADI Instructor; minimum 500 logged dives; certified at least 50 students across all core courses.
• Experience managing dive centers and/or resorts across multiple geographic locations, with a strong dive business or resort operations background.
• Demonstrated hospitality and guest service track record, extensive diving health and safety experience, and experience in diverse global dive environments.
• Experience overseeing dive equipment management and maintenance, and dive retail and commercial operations.
• Strong understanding of marine conservation principles; valid Fit-to-Dive medical certification; underwater photography and videography skills.

Essential skills

• Excellent written and spoken English; additional spoken languages, preferably Arabic, are desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, public speaking, organization, planning and coordination skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and people management, guest service, safety, independent judgment and staff training abilities.
• The role also calls for adaptability, time management, confidentiality, cross-cultural awareness and professional handling of guest feedback.

Desirable skills

• Social media content creation and posting; advanced identification of marine life; workshop technician certification for multiple dive equipment brands.

Work context

• The role covers The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations in a strategic, multi-site capacity and requires frequent travel.
• The role may require remote work, attendance at office locations, extended hours, weekends and peak-season flexibility.
