Role overview

Primary responsibilities

• Plan costs with a focus on the cost-versus-value balance and project goals.
• Oversee monthly tracking of scope and cost movements between phases.
• Review cost consultant plans for accuracy and design alignment; monitor design efficiencies and consultant compliance.
• Apply company policies, processes, templates, and IPMS measurement guidelines.
• Update the business unit on construction costs and design metrics and represent it at internal reviews and stage gates.
• Use benchmarking to connect design metrics with cost positions and provide assurance across the project lifecycle.
• Maintain awareness of cost planning feasibility requirements.

Candidate requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant cost planning, quantity surveying, or estimating experience.
• Expertise in standards such as NRM, CESMM, RIBA, or POMI.
• Experience on projects with construction value greater than SAR 200 million.
• Familiarity with cost and design benchmarking; KSA or Middle East experience is preferable.
• At least 2 years of local GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Basic ability to convey information and some experience adapting messages for different audiences.
• Strong understanding of cost planning software; CostX is preferable.
