Role overview

Architecture and platform delivery

• Lead enterprise architecture, application engineering, mobile and backend development, data platforms, and technology modernization.
• Own API strategy, enterprise integration services, and cloud platform engineering for secure, reliable, automated operations.
• KPIs include 95% of application and platform releases on schedule, 99.5% availability, 80% of new solutions using approved standards, and 90% of deployments automated through CI/CD and IaC.

Security, governance, and leadership

• Embed security by design, secure development, vulnerability management, and compliance with security standards across software delivery.
• Maintain governance, architecture controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance across applications.
• Lead technical teams, manage strategic vendors, and ensure business-aligned outcomes; KPIs include stakeholder satisfaction and vendor SLA compliance targets of 90%.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant technical master’s degree preferred but not required.
• 10–15+ years of progressive enterprise application development, architecture, and application security experience, including at least five years in technical leadership or management.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing developers, vendors, and system integrators.
• Experience managing enterprise application portfolios and delivering web, mobile, API, and integration solutions at enterprise scale.
• Experience implementing enterprise application security programs and supporting large-scale digital transformation.

Skills and certifications

• Hands-on expertise across frontend, backend, mobile development, and cloud-native architectures; strong command of SSDLC, application security, and DevSecOps.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions; communicate with stakeholders and manage vendors and contracts.
• Listed certifications include CISSP, CSSLP, and Microsoft Azure architecture, security, or developer certifications; TOGAF DevSecOps and API Security certification are also listed, with API Security explicitly preferred.
