Ground Controller role within Shamal Holding's Sky Dive Dubai operation.
Responsible for coordinating aircraft loading, communications, skydiver landings, safety, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate safe and efficient aircraft boarding with manifest.
- Communicate with pilots about weather, airspace, and skydiver drop timing and locations.
- Monitor weather and support safety decisions as conditions change.
- Observe skydiver openings and landings and communicate safety advice or discipline.
- Coordinate with air traffic control to safely operate in the airspace.
- Set up ground control daily by checking radios, opening airspace, preparing the landing area, and fueling buggies.
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and properly store operational equipment and vehicles; keep transport vehicles ready.
- Provide immediate incident assistance, basic first aid, injury stabilization, and coordination with emergency services as needed.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum three years of relevant experience.
- A bachelor's degree or relevant qualification is preferred.
