Role overview

Operations and incident management

• Lead daily global access network operations, ensuring high availability and service-level agreement compliance.
• Direct critical incident triage, root cause analysis, escalation, and stakeholder communication for infrastructure events.
• Oversee network changes, migrations, and technology refreshes with minimal disruption.
• Review incidents, identify resilience gaps, resolve chronic issues, and implement preventive measures.

Team leadership

• Lead and mentor approximately 15 senior network analysts through coaching, performance development, and succession planning.
• Promote continuous learning, technical excellence, and operational accountability; align team capacity and skills with infrastructure needs.
• Represent the team in cross-training, vendor calls, implementation planning, and strategic technology discussions.

Modernization and planning

• Champion SRE transformation, automation, improved observability, proactive detection and remediation, and AI-assisted operations.
• Prioritize automation in incident response, monitoring, alerting, and routine operational work to reduce manual effort and resolution times.
• Partner with engineering and technology teams to assess AI agents, intelligent alerting, and predictive analytics.
• Maintain standards, runbooks, and documentation for repeatable global operations.
• Plan operational strategy and contribute to network refreshes, SD-WAN expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and cross-functional platform integration.
• Represent operations in executive discussions and communicate metrics, risks, and transformation progress to leadership.

Required qualifications

• 6–8 years of enterprise network operations experience, including 2–4 years in leadership or senior technical management.
• Track record driving technology modernization and automation, including infrastructure automation, orchestration, or emerging operational technology.
• Strong SRE foundation in runbooks, automation, observability, and metrics-driven operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of routing and switching protocols, SD-WAN, Aruba wireless, ClearPass, global Wi-Fi, and ATM networks.
• Critical incident management experience, including root cause analysis and communication under pressure.
• Experience managing technical operations teams of 15 or more with accountability for service levels, metrics, and business deliverables.

Preferred qualifications

• CCNP, CISSP, or another relevant network certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, or Bash is a plus.
• Experience with orchestration platforms, AI agents, or intelligent alerting systems is a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional digital transformation or infrastructure modernization programs is a plus.
