We are seeking an experienced
Senior Landscape Architect
with strong experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including streetscape, highways, urban realm, public spaces, and transportation corridors.
The candidate will lead landscape design activities, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with client requirements and local authority standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead landscape design and delivery for infrastructure projects including roads, highways, streetscape, public realm, parks, and urban developments.
- Develop landscape concepts, detailed designs, planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and landscape construction details.
- Coordinate with Civil, Utilities, Structural, Traffic, and Urban Design teams to ensure seamless project integration.
- Prepare design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documentation.
- Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material samples, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, sustainability standards, and project specifications.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site inspections.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior landscape architects and designers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in landscape architecture with significant exposure to infrastructure and streetscape projects.
- Strong experience in roads, highways, public realm, urban landscape, and transportation infrastructure projects within the UAE/Middle East.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit, and related landscape design software.
- Strong knowledge of local authority standards, irrigation design, hardscape materials, and native planting strategies.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on major infrastructure projects involving streetscape enhancement, highways, transportation corridors, public parks, and urban development projects in the UAE/GCC.
- Previous experience working with leading engineering consultants on infrastructure projects.
