We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector with a strong background in building construction, steel structures, and warehouse projects.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections for civil works, including structural and finishing activities.
- Monitor construction activities related to steel structures, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), warehouses, and industrial facilities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Perform material inspections (cement, steel, concrete, structural components, etc.) and verify compliance with standards.
- Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve site issues.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, site records, and documentation.
- Check alignment, levels, and quality of works such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and steel fabrication/erection.
- Monitor quality control procedures, testing (concrete tests, soil tests, weld inspections), and ensure timely approvals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site.
- Report non-conformances and follow up for corrective actions.
- Assist in project progress monitoring and milestone tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil inspection.
- Proven experience in buildings, steel structures, and warehouse/industrial projects.
- Experience working with consultants companies is preferred.
