Electrical Inspector (Buildings with Consultant Exp)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections of electrical installations to verify alignment with project requirements and relevant authority regulations.
• Monitor construction activities through regular inspections, testing, and verification of completed works.
• Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) and assist with the evaluation of technical submissions in coordination with the project team.
• Maintain daily records of site activities, resources, and construction progress.
• Document inspection findings, work progress, construction methods, and material usage.
• Review delivered materials and confirm alignment with approved project requirements.
• Perform site inspections as assigned by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) and support follow-up actions.
• Carry out site measurements and assist with quantity verification as required.
• Support the implementation of project quality management processes and standards.
• Promote safe working practices and contribute to maintaining project safety objectives.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• **Minimum 7+ years of professional experience, Mandatory experience with an engineering consultancy or supervision consultant.**
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering; Bachelor's Degree is an advantage.
• Experience on building projects such as residential, commercial, retail, mixed-use, or hospitality developments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and relevant utility authority requirements.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
